Turbo whistle? TAKE MY MONEY!Ah, I initially thought it was one of those fake turbo whistle things that you put in exhaust but then realised you were more grown up than that, so thought I’d better ask
As Simon fits them under the fuel cap you need an adaptor to screw on for the bayonet.Aren't nozzles universal ? I'm a non LPG'r ( at the moment..)
I just drilled through with a 2.5mm bit and pulled the wires through, blob of hot melt glue and sorted. The LEDs are from a motorbike accessory dealer, waterproof and sealed in wires.Thats looking good, what bumper as those design holes?, mine is solid
ThanksAs Simon fits them under the fuel cap you need an adaptor to screw on for the bayonet.
You need different adaptors across Europe anyhow.
There are 4 different types of filler connection used throughout Europe.Aren't nozzles universal ? I'm a non LPG'r ( at the moment..)
Handy to know - don't leave home without em, or UK at least !!There are 4 different types of filler connection used throughout Europe.
A set of all 4 adaptors can be bought from https://www.lpgshop.co.uk/uk-bayonet-w21-8-to-all-europe-adapters-set/
The set will allow filling anywhere in Europe.
And it's done! Running great, also changed plugs.Dropped mine off with @Lpgc for conversion
You come across as a decent fella Simon & a right grafter , great asset to us Elgrand owners oh, & highly thought of being the LPG God that you are ( @Karl , its not a religious post LOL)And it's done! Running great, also changed plugs.
Steve dropped it off Sunday morning, I'd already done some prep work on Saturday (setting injector nozzle sizes and gas entry points etc, assembling the reducer/solenoid setup and orientating water/gas connections/set pressure, fitted the tank valve to the tank and purged air out of the tank so fill speed doesn't slow so much when the tank is nearly full), worked til late Sunday (last night) and all day until now today, just been and filled with 81L of gas at Morrisons and calibrated. Just a few checks to do in the morning... watch all the figures etc as it warms up and switches to LPG, watch figures again when driving while it's still warming up... none of these checks are essential on one of my Elgrand installs but I always do them where possible (owner not collecting same day as job is finished).
