That should narrow it down a bitSurely there must be a fluent Japanese automotive/electrical/engineer/programmer in the club who could convert the Elgrand electrickery to uk?
Unfortunately I've not been able to make any progress on an iOS version. I'm struggling to keep any motivation to maintain the app, due to changes made my Google to Android placing further restrictions on what the app can do. Perfectly reasonable features have had to be removed in the name of privacy or battery life, specifically background running which was something I used to use. Even with constant 'encouragement' from my wife, I'm staring up at a cliff face looking at the work that needs doing for both versions.Hi, did you ever manage to get around to making an iOS version of this?
Kind regards
Sean
Has this be been done yet for iOSHi all, in order to try and give something back to this fantastic community that's given me so much over the last two years I've decided to offer every Premium Member a free copy of my Android app DigiHUD Speedometer Pro! I'm posting it here to highlight another benefit of becoming a Premium Member..
Thanks man, erm, what is it? It's a GPS speedometer primarily, with a bunch of other features, including a Head-Up Display mode. It's only available for Android currently but I hope to have an iOS version available eventually. The free version has been downloaded by over 12 million people.
Why did you make it? I started the project back in 2012 after seeing a cool speedometer app on an iPhone, and being a programmer by trade I thought I'd build my own. Over the past six years what started as a simple tool for my own amusement grew into a popular free app, which spawned a paid version with a load more features. Neither version has any ads. I hate ads! I still have a lot of plans for it in the future but it's a hobby and I don't have a lot of time to work on it.
How can I find out more about it? Have a look at the app listing in the Google Play store.
Ok then, how do I get it? If you're a Premium Member of EOC send me a private message on here asking for a code. I'll send you a unique promo code that you can apply in the Play Store. This gives you a free download of the Pro version. The app will be linked to the Google account you use for the Play store so you can uninstall and reinstall again in the future without having to 'buy' it again. It's yours free for as long as you use that account, and if you use that account on multiple devices then you can install the app on all of them.

One free copy of the app is available only to Premium Members. Codes can only be requested via private message on the ElgrandOC forum, and I'll try and respond as quickly as I can.
If you've recently bought the Pro version then message me, I'm sure I can sort something out.

Hi, code sentHi there! Upgraded today...so have popped here with my begging bowl!
I've done this message as a reply to Dognero, so if you (MrChops) get an email notification of this message, the problem is definitely fixed already
Thanks mate, emails from the site seem to be sporadic as I had a few a while back but not recently, I just remembered I should drop in and see what notifications I have...and a good job I did. Appreciate the suggestion and I've unwatched/watched to see if it helps. I like to think of myself as quite tech savvy having been involved in IT since the 90s (hmm, the 80 but with a gap or two) but still, as I get older I do seem to just not think of things that would have been obvious to try before. Any normal person would have thought that watching a thread with emails enabled would be enough...but I know how this stuff works (it was after all written by programmers! (and yes I am one!)) so wouldn't be at all surprised if this suggestion resolves it. Cheers.I've done this message as a reply to Dognero, so if you (MrChops) get an email notification of this message, the problem is definitely fixed already
If you don't get an email notification for this message, solution is probably:
(Sorry for the possibly patronising advice, but I'm assuming you're one of those incredibly clever types that's hopeless with simple stuff )
- Scroll to top of this page and press Unwatch button to Unwatch the thread
- The button will then say Watch.
- Press Watch button
- Make sure the '...and receive email notifications' is ticked
