Pity you could not make it Peter, hope all is well for you and Van now,My apologies for not attending today but had a few domestic problems and then on top of that actually a fault with the van - the washer pump seized. Anyway all sorted now. We will definately be there on the 31st Oct. Looks like you have had a good trip gents, hope the weather was better than down here in Redcar last night, we had rain and a cold wind of the sea, but fine this morning. We will certainly be there on the 31st Oct, Looking forward to the eye of toad and leg of frog soup.
I take it you made it back in one piece, not too drunk ??? Great meeting you all, see you again shortly!!!Pity you could not make it Peter, hope all is well for you and Van now,
Weather has been a bit cold and windy but staying dry.
Site is great location and worth a return trip, the owners are doing a great job putting this fledgling site together.
If you don’t fancy camping, they have Glamping tents.
See you at end of October ( check date, I think it’s 30th)
Great circular route & found the ideal sea swim spot through the farm access at Low Steads. Stayed sober too.I take it you made it back in one piece, not too drunk ??? Great meeting you all, see you again shortly!!!
Good to see you as well and thanks for telling us about the site.I take it you made it back in one piece, not too drunk ??? Great meeting you all, see you again shortly!!!
Not good, hope they get sorted soon!!!Hope you’re all having a great time. Glad we didn’t just persevere and come now. Child 2 started vomiting yesterday and 1 started in the night with the Squirts
Cheers. Fingers crossed. Up to now seems they’ve all only been poorly for a few hours then fine again. Not looking forward to my turn. It’ll be my 5th vomiting bug in the last 12 monthNot good, hope they get sorted soon!!!
Alnmouth is photographic gold. Love the place, so does my wife, her uncle used to live in thr village by the pub so it’s a bit nostalgic for her. Seems more fun when the tide is out to meJust spotted before heading home, in the village near to site:
2 cafes and a small co-op. Missed them yesterday when walking but good to know for next time.
Came home through Alnmouth, again worth a trip on next visit to site.
Thanks all for a great weekend, chilled (as was weather) and relaxing.

Was there yesterday, still a great walk . Campsite looked closed . And pub was closed which wasn’t great ha haGreat circular route & found the ideal sea swim spot through the farm access at Low Steads. Stayed sober too.
Thanks for arranging and popping in, your mate (one of the owners) also introduced himself while we had campfire going.
Well worth a return but without the cold wind (although it didn’t spoilt it at all).
