With 24 hours and 30 minutes until it’s the start of the JAE weekend, we’re all ready and raring to go! Planning has been ongoing for about 8 months solid and now we’re starting to see the fruits of the struggles.
Excited members, excited administration, plans in place, designs in hand… JAE… ElgrandOC are coming.
It’s going to be another weekend of looking our best, having a good time, polishing the vans and drinking. Did I mention drinking? Our founder Karl has his van in for the Show N Shine this year; so if you get a chance to drop in to the Arena (or even purchase a Saturday ticket), head in to the Arena and get up close and personal to see what it’s all about!
There will be a lot of pictures and video coming, keep an eye on the Instagram account for sure, it’ll be one to follow for the next few weeks!
After our old host decided to simply pack up and disappear (lé poof) we had no choice but to go to our new server a month early. Well, this is that. We haven’t fixed HTTPS connection just yet, so expect that to quietly come back soon, however as always you connection data is still secure and all information is stored in encrypted databases.
So, the new server! It can handle more traffic, more members, more files, it’s just better… I mean, it’s a new server… Bigger… More powerful… It’s the VQ35 of the EOC server world…
Should anything be wrong, as always feel free to get in touch with our always helpful admin team on Facebook or the Forums. We are Karl, Matt (Seven), Ellis (Headless), Jim (LLGrandJ), Mark, Alan (Rapperfrapper), Brian (BMR) and Robin (MrRob_in).
Aaaaalso – thanks to everyone who made JAE 2017 our best one yet! The EOC is definitely the best Owner’s Club I’ve been with. Good people, good music and good times. We’ll see you again at the next one!
Welcome to Elgrand OC, the Nissan Elgrand owner’s club by the enthusiasts, for anyone! Karl and our host did a fantastic job of ironing out the errors in our server and forum-based community, the place is running so much smoother and looks way better as a whole. Matt “Seven” is working on building a new landing page and forum banner to bring the website right in to 2017 – tidier, easier to navigate and better showcase the community.
Join us on the Forums or Facebook to get involved – we look forward to meeting you online and at our various meets across the UK!
