Yeah. I've heard countless poor stories.
Mind you, I tried 'Jap Cover' when I insured mine. Hour of my life I'll never get back. Came back a few hours later with a quote from some outlet which had google reviews which would make you hair curl (can't remember the name, some mickey mouse company I'd never heard of)....which were about £100 MORE than Admiral!

I'd been hearing horror stories about massive premium increases but when my truck renewal came through recently from NFU at a mere 7% more I thought these big price hikes wouldn't apply to me.

However, when I opened the letter with a picture of a bulldog on it I learned otherwise as Churchill wanted 77% more! A bit of internet searching and a conversation with a nice lady called Megan (no, not that one) got it down to 48% which is still too much but what can you do? Is it any wonder so many take a chance and don't bother?

Cheers,
John
